I say "most", because the only other's I'd likely say provide you beneficial experience going into Wo Long would be Sekiro and Stranger of Paradise, because both of those lean heavily into deflection as your bread and butter means of survival.

I have also started a playthrough of Nioh 2 and can already see that it is more difficult. Either way, the game is fun but lacks just enough challenge to be up there with the big boys. Having weapon and armor upgrades along with the ability to deflect everything does kinda allow you to faceroll enemies.Ĭonversely, maybe Lu Bu is such a good teacher that he overprepares you for the later game enemies. I think if Wo Long had less loot it may be better. I am at SS Isshin right now and can confirm Sekiro is significantly more challenging and more fun tbh.
